Dillon Danis and Logan Paul finally agree over "hilarious" apology video
Dillon Danis couldn't help but laugh at a deep fake 'apology' video Logan Paul made about him ahead of their boxing fight.
Bellator MMA star Danis and YouTube boxer Paul settle their bitter feud at the Misfits Boxing 'Prime Card' next month in Manchester. Danis is making his ring debut on the night whilst Paul is lacing up the gloves for the first time in over two years. The event, which also features KSI vs Love Island star Tommy Fury, has already sold out with over 20,000 fans set to be in attendance on the night.
Paul and his fiancee Nina Agdal have been targeted by Danis almost every day online as he continues to mock the couple on social media. 'The Maverick' gave Danis a taste of his own medicine by posting a digitally altered video of him from their face-to-face interview, with even Danis himself finding the clip funny.
The video contains fake audio in which Danis says: "Logan I apologise, I'm a b**** and I'm not a real fighter. I got choked out by a bouncer and I target innocent woman online to support my insecurities. When Conor [McGregor] came over I admit that I let him hit, I sat watching crying and drinking Prime. My favourite flavour is Tropical Punch because it reminds me of the punch that Anthony Taylor landed on me which almost knocked me out."
Twitter's built-in context function lets viewers know the video is fake as a community note under the clip reads: "This video is a deep fake, where the author uses an AI, to make it look like the other person, 'Dillon Danis', has said something, which in reality he hasn’t."

Danis replied to the video by saying: "I can’t even lie this is hilarious, fair play." Agdal was recently granted a temporary restraining order against Danis as a result of his endless online trolling. Danis, a multiple-time Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion, is seemingly unbothered by legal action being launched against him as he is still posting content to mock Paul and Agdal.
The longtime training partner of UFC legend Conor McGregor has warned Paul that he may decide to choke him out in their fight if he ducks his head at any points. "That's the thing with Logan, if we're boxing and he ducks his head at all, I'm going to choke him out," Danis said during a livesream with influencer Adin Ross, who then asked if the move would be legal as Danis replied: "No, but I might just put him to sleep and say f*** it. There's a lot of things I can do."
