Ratcliffe breaks silence on ‘failed’ takeover
Sir Jim Ratcliffe has admitted that failure is not an option in his attempts to buy Man Utd. The INEOS owner emerged as a frontrunner to take control of the club alongside Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani.
Speaking to INEOS.TV, Ratcliffe said: “The Manchester United bid would have been unthinkable two or three years ago if we hadn’t had some of the experiences - some quite difficult experiences - with Lausanne and Nice.

Ten Hag holds crisis Sancho talks
Jadon Sancho is now set to push to leave Man Utd after holding crisis talks with boss Ten Hag. The Dutchman accused the winger of not matching the standards expected of him during training, something that he disputed.
The relationship between the pair has continued to break down since then. According to the Daily Star, crisis talks have been held in the hope of finding an amicable resolution.
However, that has not been the case and Sancho is now seeking a move elsewhere. He will look to leave once the transfer window reopens in January, with a loan spell not ruled out at this stage.

The links come after the former Red Devils’ coach hinted that he would be open to a return to the Premier League with Tottenham back in April.
