Kylie Jenner & Timothee Chalamet 'very different' amid their 'contrived' romance

Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet aren't two celebrities you'd necessarily pair up and put in a romantic relationship if you were a matchmaker, but they certainly seem smitten nonetheless. But although they seem loved up, an expert has said that their relationship looks "contrived".

Speculation has been rife of late that reality star Kylie, 26, and Hollywood actor Timothee, 27, are dating. And just mere days ago the couple seemingly confirmed their relationship when they were photographed kissing at a Beyonce concert in Los Angeles as they couldn't keep their hands off one another.

And then yesterday things heated up a tad more when the couple displayed their new romance all over again, but this time at the Men's Singles Final at the US Open in New York. Sharing a steamy smooch in view of the world, the couple puckered up while Novak Djokovic achieved his record-breaking 24th Grand Slam title against Russia's Daniil Medvedev.

But amid their public appearances with one another, body language expert Judi James has exclusively analysed the couple and how they act around each other. Speaking to The Mirror US, Judi spoke of their US Open appearance when she said: "These two might look like a beautiful couple but their body language doesn’t define them as a congruent, synchronised-looking couple yet."

She explained how both Kylie and her newfound love interest are "sending out a pretty formal-looking message to their fans that they are an official item but their poses manage to look a bit contrived rather than relaxed and in tune". Judi explained how Kylie "looks like she’s the star of some romantic drama, using every opportunity to gaze adoringly at Timothee or encircle him with her arms while he’s looking more like a playful teenager here, whispering in her ear or standing behind her like he did at the Beyonce concert".

Judi noted that when they are out of sight of each other "their body language becomes less mirrored and more contrasting" and Timothee's "excited, mouth-open grins and her more sophisticate, dreamy, closed-lip smile of a woman who clearly wants to show she’s smitten". She then concluded her expert analysis with: "They look happy but they look like two very different personalities here."
