Savvy mum shares the two ingredients to 'make glass stovetop look new'

Cleaning the kitchen can take a lot of time and elbow grease. You might also spend a lot of money filling up your cleaning cupboard with different products to help keep on top of keeping your kitchen looking gleaming, but one cleaning guru shared how to make the most of natural ingredients you may already have in your cupboards.

Cleaning expert Chantel Mila Ibbotson, known as Mama Mila on TikTok, has impressed CleanTok fans with her use of natural ingredients to keep her stovetop shining. If you can't stand stains and smudges on your glass stovetop, she reveals her easy tip to cut through the grease - and it only requires two ingredients.

The video, which now has almost 150,000 views and over 2,500 likes, sees the mum of two using a classic combination of baking soda and lemon juice to clean the glass stovetop."The citric acid in this powerful mix cuts through baked-on grime", the video explained, as she showed the combined ingredients fizzing on the stovetop. She then advised viewers to "wipe with hot water to reveal your shining stovetop."

Chantel regularly posts handy videos showing how natural ingredients you most likely already have around the house might help with cleaning, and in the process has gained millions of followers who love her clever tips. Another popular trick she shared was how to get rid of shower grime and mould using a mix of white vinegar, dish soap and clove or tea tree oil. As well as showing how coffee grounds can get rid of bathroom odours, and how to make a multipurpose spray from lemon and white vinegar.
