Former world No 1 Ash Barty has shared photos of her two-month-old son Hayden.
She and husband Garry Kissick welcomed their first child in July and snaps have now been posted on Instagram which has sent fans and friends into a frenzy. Barty called time on her tennis career at the tender age of 25 to pursue other aspects of her life.
The Australian has shared a variety of snaps of little Hayden - captioned: "Outnumbered by the boys. Love every single minute" - one shows her whilst she holds her child sleeping, another has the new born looking at the camera from his playpen whilst a lovely shot featured her husband looking down on his son.
Barty shared her thoughts on beginning a family as she said: "It's the best thing I've ever done and the hardest thing. Hayden is amazing, I feel so very lucky. Garry and I are really just enjoying what is a pretty quiet time together at home as a little family."
Several of her compatriots have left comments on the photos with swimming champion Giaan Rooney saying "what a cutie" whilst cricket great Matthew Hayden added: "Decent crop of hair on the youngster."

Barty married her husband Garry Kissick in a private ceremony at a secret venue in Queensland in July of last year after they'd met at Brooklands Golf Club in Queensland in 2016 during a round of golf, and they have been together since.

She said beginning a family is the "best thing she's ever done" (@ashbarty)The Australian shocked the world when she retired at the age of 25, shortly after claiming her third Grand Slam title on home soil as Barty admitted her champion desire had dwindled following her Wimbledon triumph in 2021. Across the course of her career, the 27-year-old was World No 1 for 121 weeks.
She first really established herself among the sport's elite when she claimed the French Open title in 2019. Barty was largely absent from the tour the following year due to the Covid pandemic but she returned and dominated the sport. Her retirement came shortly after her success at the Australian Open.
She beat American Danielle Collins in the final in Melbourne and her retirement came just months later as she reflected: “That crowd the night of the final of the Australian Open was like nothing I’ve ever played in front of before. It was so much fun to enjoy that with them, as well as my team. But it was a brilliant way to finish.”
