A YouTuber has been criticised for telling a female reporter she looked "peng" during the Sidemen charity match on Saturday afternoon

The annual game, which raises millions of pounds for various charities, took place at the West Ham's London Stadium. Several notable YouTubers took part in the game, including KSI, Vikkstar123, IShowSpeed, Chunkz, Niko Omilana and Max Fosh.

Kai Cenat, who has 4.67million subscribers on his main channel, spoke to pitchside reporter Nada - who is also a radio presenter - during a water break, with temperatures exceeding 30 degrees. She asked him: "The heat is unimaginable. Kai, can you tell people about the heat right now?"

Kai replied: "Well before I get to the heat, I would actually like to say that you look absolutely peng today... you look absolutely peng today!"

Nada thanked Kai for his remark, but that didn't stop fans on social media questioning it. They've accused him of trying to "rizz up" the commentator. "Rizz" is a slang word that means flirting, with Kai often using the expression on social media.

"Kai didn't come for the football, he just came here to rizz that interviewer," tweeted one social media user. Another added: "Kai really trying to rizz up the reporter."

The commentators tried to make light of the situation, with one uttering: "So much rizz on display there from Kai."

Yet not everyone is happy with Kai's remark. One Twitter user then wrote: "It's a football match for charity, mate. You don't always have to flirt or quote unquote rizz people just doing their jobs. I don't know how people watch this Kai Cenat guy."

Kai's comment comes just a month after former Love Island contestant Chris Hughes was criticised for calling Australian cricketer Maitlan Brown "a little Barbie" because of her "blue eyes". Hughes, who was interviewing Brown, then said she was "blushing".

Hughes was working for the BBC when he made the remark. A BBC spokesperson later confirmed: "We have spoken to Chris and explained that his comment was not appropriate."

Kai did find the net during the first half, but the goal was disallowed for offside. On his strike, he said: "It is so hot out here right now, I am trying... I just got an offside kick! I thought it was a goal! I thought it was a goal! It was too good to be true."
