Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are one of Hollywood's most-loved couples and the besotted pair are currently celebrating their 11th wedding anniversary.
The Hollywood stars first met while filming the Green Lantern back in 2010, but romantic sparks didn't begin to fly until a year later after when they went on a double date. The only catch? They were both on a date with different people.
Blake had ended her three-year romance with her Gossip Girl co-star Penn Badgley, while Ryan was newly divorced after calling time on his marriage to Scarlett Johansson. As they both found themselves single, Ryan and Blake decided to team up and hit the dating scene.

They've been married for 11 years (GC Images)"We were buddies for a long time, which I think is the best way to have a relationship, to start as friends," Ryan explained. During an appearance on SiriusXM, the 46-year-old added: "About a year after Green Lantern had come and gone and we were both single we went on a double date.
"She was on a date with another guy and I was on a date with another girl. And it was like the most awkward date for the respective parties because we were just like fireworks coming across."

The pair quickly started dating each other, with the couple first spotted looking cosy in October 2011. Blake and Ryan were snapped outside an apartment in Boston, where Ryan was busy filming R.I.P.D.
A source confirmed their relationship, telling People at the time: "They are very much a couple. They're really happy together." Just a few months later, Ryan and Blake spent Christmas together in his hometown of Vancouver.
The loved-up couple tied the knot on September 9, 2012 at Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Their ceremony included a children's choir, paper lantern send-off and a sour cream wedding cake with peach-apricot preserves.

In 2020, Ryan publicly apologised for hosting their wedding at a venue linked to slavery. "It's something we'll always be deeply and unreservedly sorry for," the actor said during an interview with Fast Company.
He added: "It's impossible to reconcile. What we saw at the time was a wedding venue on Pinterest. What we saw after was a place built upon devastating tragedy."
Ryan revealed that they later renewed their vows at home in New York. He said hosting their first wedding at the plantation was a "giant f***ing mistake".
Blake and Ryan made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2014 Met Gala. Just five months later, the actress revealed they were expecting their first child together.
Their daughter, James, was born on December 16, 2014. The couple also share seven-year-old daughter Inez, daughter Betty, three, and a baby born in February this year
