Manchester United appear to be at a crossroads, with Erik ten Hag's side having endured a mixed start to the new season.

They sit a disappointing 11th in the Premier League table, with uncertainty still swirling around a potential takeover. There is rising concern among United fans, with the official supporters' trust now penning an open letter to the much-hated Glazers, urging them to leave.

As the fans continue to battle the club's owners, Jadon Sancho's spat with Ten Hag over his training performances continues, while Anthony Martial is facing fresh criticism. Here, Mirror Football rounds up the latest Manchester United news.

Supporters send Glazer warning

The Manchester United Supporters Trust has urged the Glazers to sell the club amid the uncertainty surrounding Old Trafford. The Americans are reportedly considering pulling the Red Devils off the market, which MUST believe would be a mistake.

"If they are intending to remain as owners they must be made aware of the negative reaction that news is going to create and the continued chaos and disruption that their ownership will continue to elicit," a letter from the group read.

"All in all, it's been a process typical of their ownership of the club. Slow, opaque and increasingly looking like having a 'worst case scenario' outcome."

Martial performances slammed

Anthony Martial has been blasted for his demeanour, having failed to score a goal this season. The Frenchman has started United's last two games, but former European Cup winner Martin O'Neill believes he needs to drastically improve.

"You just don't feel as though they're going to score bags of goals. For all of the talented players they've got going forward, you're not confident in them at the moment. Anthony Martial's demeanour would probably irritate you if you're a manager," he told Ladbrokes Fanzone.

"He just seems to mope and moan. He doesn't do enough, he complains when he's coming off - but you just think 'You're playing for Manchester United; you've got to be doing more!' We're not talking about an ordinary Premier League side here. It's Manchester United. You've got to be better."

Dressing room delivers Sancho verdict

The Manchester United dressing room have reportedly "had enough" of Jadon Sancho amid his spat with Erik ten Hag. The Red Devils boss called out the attacker for his poor performances in training in the build-up to the defeat to Arsenal.

Sancho hit back at the Dutchman, accusing Ten Hag of making him a "scapegoat". It appears that it is the manager who enjoys the backing of the dressing room though, with ESPN claiming they are firmly on Ten Hag's side.

It is claimed that some United players feel that Sancho's 'performances and commitment' are not at the level required. The England international will remain at Old Trafford until at least January after a move to the Saudi Pro League broke down.
