PS Plus Extra and Premium's September 2023 lineup is set to be revealed officially next week, but that isn't stopping us from having a guess at to what's to come.
PS Plus Extra And Premium have a chance to make up for one of the worst Essential lineups of all time arriving this month, considering the price increase that was announced alongside that – hopefully Sony will have something to show for it. The PS Plus August 2023 Extra and Premium lineup was solid as not only did we get bangers like Lost Judgement and Dreams, but two day one releases with Moving Out 2 and the indie darling Sea of Stars (which was also day one on Xbox Game Pass).
The PS Plus Extra and Premium September 2023 games will be officially revealed on Wednesday, September 13 at 4:30pm BST / 11:30 am EDT /8:30am PDT. Unlike Essential titles which are gone after the month is over, the Extra and Premium titles will remain available for the foreseeable future (with most getting at least a year).
PS Plus Extra and Premium September 2023 predictions
We're basing our predictions on last year's lineup and looking at the dates of some of the games featured in that list. September 2022's PS Plus Extra and Premium games were headlined by Deathloop, Chicory: A Colourful Tale, and Assassin's Creed Origins. The biggest of those – Deathloop – came out in September 2021, so we're looking to September 2022 for our ideas. The biggest games to drop on PlayStation in September 2022 include Metal: Hellsinger (which is leaving Xbox Game Pass this month), Tunic, and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R.
Chicory: A Colourful Tale launched a few months earlier than Deathloop, arriving in June 2021, so we'll look at June 2022 where games like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge, Sonic Origins (both recently received DLC), and Capcom Fighting Collection reside.

As always it's hard to properly guess what exactly will be on PS Plus every month as there's no rigid format that Sony keep to, but based on previous months we'd be shocked if we got none of these right.
