After their incredible collaboration with Barbie last month, Kipling’s latest collection of fashionable accessories has taken inspiration from yet another historical female icon. The brand’s newest launch, which went live on Tuesday, takes - and it’s a work of art.
Drawing on her bold and empowering spirit, , purses and pouches that pay homage to her legacy while adding a contemporary twist. Playing with a theme of light and dark, the range is finished in sultry black adorned with bright florals reminiscent of the trailblazing artist.
The collection includes styles to suit every lifestyle, including , each one with their own keyring - a staple of these iconic accessories. Each bag features a unique bright blue monkey charm, wearing a floral headdress in homage to Kahlo’s trademark look.
Other nods to Kahlo include a hidden monkey crawling through the design, recalling the artist’s pet and the brand’s motif, while a tag to the side seam features Frida Kahlo’s signature.
