Manchester United fans have once again urged the Glazers to sell up - bluntly asking them: "Just what has the last nine months achieved?"
United's deeply unpopular owners put the Premier League club up for sale last November but are yet to name a preferred bidder. Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani and INEOS chief Sir Jim Ratcliffe are the two leading candidates.
New reports suggest the Glazers are now open to staying at Old Trafford and have increased their asking price to a staggering £10billion. That is just for their shares, a controlling stake in the club, with a new owner also taking on more than £500million in debt.
That's left United fans extremely concerned about the future. The club has stagnated since the Glazers took charge in 2005, as they have not won a Premier League title for a decade. Their most recent Champions League triumph was in 2008.
The Manchester United Supporters Trust (MUST) have issued an update to their members about the takeover saga. The prominent fan group wants the Glazers to "make a clear public statement about the status of the process and the intentions of the owners".

As relayed by the Daily Mail, the letter adds: "If they are intending to remain as owners they must be made aware of the negative reaction that news is going to create and the continued chaos and disruption that their ownership will continue to elicit.
"Aside from that, there are a whole series of big questions they would need to answer: What is their plan to invest in United? Just what has the last nine months achieved? What costs have been incurred in this process?

"Are those costs being met by the Glazer family, or by the club itself? All in all, it's been a process typical of their ownership of the club. Slow, opaque and increasingly looking like having a 'worst case scenario' outcome."
The team's performance is just one of their worries. Old Trafford needs to be redeveloped - as it is no longer considered as one of the best grounds in the Premier League - and the club's training ground and academy structure also needs improving.
United are no longer producing high-quality players in bulk, with Manchester City snapping up most of the talent in the region. This is helping Pep Guardiola's side generate millions of pounds in revenue, with Cole Palmer recently sold to Chelsea for £42.5m.
