After news broke that Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner had filed for divorce, reports said Joe felt that their 'lifestyles' clashed. Sources apparently claimed Joe was more of an introvert while Sophie had a tendency to "party".
A video has resurfaced debunking those claims from Sophie's point of view. In the clip, she said: "I'm an introvert. I'm a homebody. If I could stay at home all day I would, so [COVID-19 lockdown] is kind of great for me."
The Game of Thrones actress goes on to claim that lockdown with Joe was 'like a prison'. These clashing claims have left fans angry.

An old interview surfaced where Sophie said she was a 'homebody' (Getty Images North America)Sophie said: "Joe's like... he's a real social butterfly. So, I struggle to lock him down and have him just spend time with him, so it's like prison for him, but it's great for me."
At the time, Sophie ironically mentioned divorce rates, but believed her marriage with Joe was fine. She stated: "Everything seems to be working out in my favour here."

On the contrary, a source offered secondhand information to TMZ earlier this week. The source said: "She likes to party and he likes to stay at home. They have very different lifestyles."
Sophie published their official joint statement on Instagram. She said: "After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children."
Divorce papers were officially filed Tuesday (Patrick McMullan via Getty Images)Fans were quick to call out the hypocrisy, inaccuracies, and conflicts in the stories. One wrote: "I think it’s really funny that Joe Jonas said that she parties too much when she publicly said she’s an introvert and prefers to stay at home, as well as him being on tour and partying for the past year and a bit basically."
The divorce paperwork was officially filed in Miami on Tuesday. While the documents did not specifically reference their lifestyles, it included that their marriage was "irretrievably broken". Moreover, it detailed plans to co-parent their two children. The papers obtained by the Daily Mail state: "It is in the best interests of the minor children that the parties have shared parental responsibility."
Rumours about their divorce first came in Sunday. Despite the speculation, Joe wore his wedding ring in a post and Sophie made an appearance at his concert in what seemed to be a sign of unity.
