The Only Way Is Essex stars Tommy Mallet and Georgia Kousoulou have been given the green light to start filming another series of their Towie spin-off show Georgia And Tommy: Baby Steps.
Georgia, 31 and Tommy, 30 started dating in 2014 and viewers saw their relationship unfold on-screen to the point where they announced that they were expecting their first child. And so on the back of their announcement ITV gave the couple their own show. And over the last four series, it has proved popular with ITVBe viewers. So much so, the pair will return to our screens later in the year as they allow the cameras into their day to day lives.
Georgia and Tommy commissioned for fifth series of ITVBe reality show (ITV / Lime Pictures)Viewers shared in the heartbreak as the engaged couple were left devastated after discovering that their unborn child, which would have been either a brother or sister to their two year old son Brody, did not survive at their three month scan. In one of latest episodes in their last series Tommy is seen talking to the camera saying: "Unfortunately we didn’t get the results that we were staying positive for and Georgia’s had a miscarriage."
And a little later Georgia found the courage to also say: "When someone says that baby’s not going to make it, it’s like “What do you mean?’, I don’t get it." In another scene Georgia is seen curled up on the sofa as she tells Tommy: "‘I don’t think I’ve ever felt pain like it. It’s so hard ain’t it."
Georgia also took to her social media to reveal the heart wrenching news to her 1.5M followers. Her statement read: "Our 12 week scan to be told our baby had not survived & I needed an operation. We don't really have the words to say right now except we are lucky to have amazing family and friends around us & most importantly we are blessed to have our beautiful Brody who we couldn't of got through this without him.

We will have the words soon but right now we are taking time for us as a family." A source told The Sun: "Georgia and Tommy's Baby Steps will be back by the end of the year. It's still as popular as ever and channel bosses were quick to get a fifth series locked down."
As yet it is unknown what is set to unfold in the next series. But last year Tommy, who own his own trainer brand, revealed that he planned to move his family out of Essex to Mallorca for a completely different lifestyle. He said: ""I feel selfish with what I am trying to build. I want to try and live in the moment a little bit, but I want to have a bit of peace in my life." He added their trip to Mallorca was the first time he had been away from Brody overnight and he hopes for his son to learn Spanish and lead a completely different lifestyle to the one he had grown up in.
