EastEnders fans predict major exit plot line for Whitney Dean
EastEnders fans believe that they have sussed out the explosive nature of Whitney Dean's exit which includes Lily Slater's newborn baby.
Taking to social media one fan predicted that as Lily is only 13 years old, she will give Whitney her newborn baby to raise as her own, as the responsibility on her is far too great. The die-hard fan of the BBC soap wrote: "The way Lily was looking at her baby has got me thinking she's gonna end up putting her baby up for adoption. She's got a scared/uncertain look about her. Her smile just kinda disappeared when she was looking at her newborn baby that she was so excited about meeting and start being a mum. "
EastEnders fans predict major twist for Lily after tell-tale clue spottedThey added: "We all know that Whitney is sadly leaving and we also all know that she's looking into adopting a baby. So I have come to the conclusion that Lily might actually end up giving Charli to Whitney, anmd to make it more easier on Lily, Whitney is gonna move away and leave Walford."
Baby Charli is the daughter of Ricky Branning and Lily Slater and viewers saw Jack Branning's son hold his daughter for the first time when he went to visit Lily at the hospital. But there appeared to be some confusion over her name Charli. Stacey, played by Lacey Turner, thought Lily had chosen that name after her uncle Charlie. But it turns out that Lily and Ricky's baby name was inspired by the singer Charlie XCX.
And it looks as though many fans of the BBC soap have the same prediction if their social media posts are anything to go by. Another fan wrote: "Well Whit is going out so I think she will take the baby and leave.” A third fan wrote: "I agree with you, Lily just doesn’t seem to be bonding with her baby. I think Whitney will take the baby but I don’t think it’ll be plain sailing.”
EastEnders' Jake Wood's snap of son has fans pointing out the pair's likeness
Whitney and Zack suffered heartbreak after making the tough decision to terminate their unborn child (BBC/Jack Barnes/Kieron McCarron)It was only in February that viewers saw Whitney, played by Shona McGarty, endure the most heartbreaking storyline as she was told that her unborn baby had a condition called Edward's Syndrome which meant her baby would not live long past birth. And so she along with Zack, were forced to make the harrowing decision of terminating her pregnancy.
And so, in recent scenes it looks as though the fans may be right with their predicitons after Whitney went to visit Lily at the hospital. Noticing that she was struggling to cope with her baby crying, Whitney stepped in to comfort the tot. Stacey is under the impression that it is perfectly normal for new mum to struggle to adjust but Lily's dad Martin Fowler is not convinced after the way he saw Lily react to Charli's cries. Instead of comfiorting her baby she called out for her mum, showing that she was just a child herself.
