Tyson Fury joked brother Tommy “didn’t have the minerals” to have a baby
Tyson Fury joked he wasn't sure his brother Tommy "had the minerals" before announcing he and fiancee Molly Mae Hague were going to have a baby.
The world heavyweight champion was at the christening of his sixth child Athena when Tommy gathered he and wife Paris at a table to tell him his big news with Molly Mae. Netflix cameras caught the heart-warming moment for the new reality show At Home With The Furys.
Molly Mae and Tommy confirmed they would be having a baby girl, and in January of this year they welcomed their first daughter Bambi. Just days later, the boxer travelled to Saudi Arabia to fight Jake Paul, for which he earned a massive payday believed to be in the multiple millions.
"Basically, we've got an announcement to make," Tommy told his brother around the table. "So me and Molly are having a baby." He then teased that "the shock thing" was that he and Molly were already six months along at the time, with Bambi eventually being born on January 23.
His brother jokingly responded "Come on guys! I never thought he had the minerals to do it," to which Tommy cheekily quipped back "at least we know it works!" Tyson then added: “I was coming from the gym and she had a little parcel, I thought it was a designer t-shirt or something wrapped up. I sat down to open it and it was a baby grow. I thought ‘No!’, that was it from there.”

Frustratingly for the family, Tommy and Molly Mae's announcement that Bambi had been born was scuppered by a leak from Paul, who used her birthday as part of promotion for their pay-per-view bout. Ultimately, however, it was Fury who got the last laugh as he pocketed millions and picked up a split decision victory in Riyadh this February.
Tommy and Tyson are both set to return to the ring next month, with the younger brother out first in a massive homecoming show against YouTube star KSI in Manchester's AO Arena. Then, Tyson heads to Saudi Arabia for his own crossover fight, taking on UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou to kick off Riyadh Season.
