Dan Edgar says he's living with James Argent after 'tough' Amber Turner split

TOWIE's Dan Edgar has revealed he's living with James 'Arg' Argent after breaking up with girlfriend, Amber Turner.

The reality stars called time on their relationship in May following five years together after Amber was rumoured to have cheated on the former electrician, which she denies. Dan, 33, says he's now "fully single", adding that while the break-up hasn't been easy, it was ultimately "for the best".

Opening up about his relationship and sharing custody of the former couple's dog, he said: "It’s hard. It’s like having a kid. At the moment I’m in limbo. I’m temporarily living with Arg [James Argent]. The dog is staying in the house with Amber. We’ll see what happens. I love him to bits."

Admitting things hadn't been working with Amber for some time, he added: "We tried it and at the end of the day it didn’t work. It’s easy on the surface to look at things and think, 'Everything looks fine,' but there was a lot going on behind the scenes," reports OK! magazine.

There were rumours Amber had cheated on Dan, which the telly star says his ex has denied, stating: "Our relationship hasn’t come to an end because of rumours about who done what. We both got to the important stage of, 'Are you going to be the person I marry and have kids with?' But that was not going to happen with us."

Soon after the split, Dan and Arg flew out to Marbella where Dan was pictured with Instagram model, Hannah Rally. When asked if anything was going on between the pair, he insisted there wasn't. When snaps of the pair in Burger King popped up on social media, Dan's representative told us: "He met Hannah towards the end of the trip, who he knows vaguely from home, who was also out there on holiday with her friends. Dan and his friends extended their trip a couple of times and Dan ended up on the same flight home as Hannah where they were pictured waiting for food at a fast food restaurant at the airport. They were not alone in the airport and did not go away together as is being claimed. Dan is 100% single and any claims in the media are completely untrue."

However, Amber was reportedly worried Hannah would rock up in TOWIE, with a source telling The Sun: "Amber is convinced that she's going to be blindsided and Hannah will turn up during filming - it's making her really anxious and she's been confiding in some of her castmates in private."

The reality star is also said to have swerved a recent trip to Cyprus on the ITVBe show, as the source told the publication: "Amber made it clear she wasn't going to go on the overseas trip if Dan was there. She feels it's too soon after their break-up to have to go on a plane with him and the rest of the cast to film on location." But teaser scenes for the next episode show Amber checking into the hotel later than her fellow cast mates – the fallout of her late arrival is to be explored in the next episode.
