A woman has opened up about her shock after spotting a rather suspicious photo on her husband's phone, sent from his female colleague. Her partner's response gave her even more cause for concern, but she's unsure whether her reaction is unreasonable as other family members have told her it's not what she thinks.
The mum says her husband's co-worker sent a "sausage leg" photo of herself in a bikini lying on a beach lounger on holiday. "Sausage legs" or "hot dog legs" usually refers to pictures people take of their legs side by side while lying down on a beach or by the pool, to show off their sunny view.
In a post on Mumsnet, the wife asked whether she was being unreasonably suspicious after finding out her husband's colleague - who is older - sent him the mystery picture. She said: "Dear Husband (DH) was sent a holiday picture of a very posed 'sausage leg' type picture from a female work colleague (late 50s). Right up to the bikini line. His response was 'A bit jealous, but wait til I get to my room'. I think this reads a certain way."
She added that she was on her husband's phone texting her own mum whilst they were on holiday together in a "very nice hotel". She said: "For context, we were on holiday too in a very nice hotel that he had been bragging about to her in previous messages. He says he was just going to show her pics of our room. He never did. Messages stop there."
She added: "My mum says it isn't suspicious and believes him as apparently pictures like this are common amongst her 50-year-old friends. My friend says it is suspicious as f**k." Almost 500 people have responded to the post on Mumsnet and been enraged by the picture. One passionate commenter said: "I would assume he was going back to the room to call her and 'finish the conversation'."

"There's no way on earth I'd send that photo to anyone other than someone I have some kind of intimate relationship with. Lower legs/feet with the pool in the background photo I would send to friends (not colleagues), but upper legs/bikini line and that's the whole focus of the picture is a different thing entirely!"
Another added: "I'm 52 and would not be sending sausage leg photos to a younger male work colleague. Urgh - the thought of it." Whilst one very passionate commenter thought completely differently and said: "The old 'sausage legs' photo is such a stereotypical 'I’m on holiday, aren't you jealous' photo. I'm sure if she was trying to seduce him she could come up with something a bit more enticing than a bog standard hotdog legs pics you see all the time on social media."
