Kim Kardashian confuses fans by attending Beyoncé's concert after feud rumours

Fans expressed confusion after Kim Kardashian and her famous family attended Beyoncé's birthday concert earlier this week on the Renaissance World Tour.

The singer-songwriter, now 42, took to the stage at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, on Monday for a concert that was held on her birthday. A host of celebrities were in attendance, including Diana Ross, Adele and Justin Bieber.

Kris Jenner, 67, was joined by some of her family at the event. She was accompanied by her daughters Kim, 42, and Khloé Kardashian, 39. Their group also included Kris' grandchildren North West, 10, and Penelope Disick, 11.

Kris shared content about the concert on Instagram, including a selfie that showed her beside Kim, North and other attendees. She also posted footage of herself in the crowd as well as clips of Beyoncé performing on the stage.

Her post on the platform prompted reaction from fans, with some speculating that there's tension between Beyoncé and the family. One person wrote in the comments section of the post: "I thought Beyoncé hates [the] Kardashians."

Another said: "Beyoncé hates Kim." A third commented: "I thought Beyoncé couldn't stand the Kardashians." Seemingly referencing the Grammy Award winner, someone else wrote: "Why [you] kissing her a** like that she hates you all."

"Wow that's very nice of you all to go and support Bey, after she said she didn't want to associate with the Kardashians and didn't even attend Kim and Kanye's wedding," read one comment. And seemingly referencing Kim, someone else reacted to Kris' post: "So KK is friends with Beyoncé again?"

Some fans however defended the family in the comments section, with it also suggested that there is no tension between Beyoncé and Kim. It was claimed by some fans that the singer invited Kim to her birthday party last year.

There's long been rumours about Beyoncé and Kim reportedly not being friends. It's previously been suggested that it's related to an alleged feud between Beyoncé's husband Jay-Z, 53, and Kim's now ex-husband Kanye West, 46.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z reportedly didn't attend Kim and Kanye's wedding back in 2014, despite the rapper having been said to have mentored Kanye earlier in his career. The couple's apparent absence attracted attention at the time.

There's been various claims about the couples in the past, including that Beyoncé "never genuinely liked Kim". PageSix said at the time, in 2016, that a source added that she wasn't impressed by Kanye appearing on reality TV. The outlet, however, reported that her representative denied the source's claims.

Despite the rumours, Kim reportedly attended Beyoncé's birthday party last year with her sister Khloé. Similarly, it's believed that Kanye and Jay-Z have put any drama behind them, as the latter was on the former's album Donda in 2021.
