Actor William Ellis recently joined the cast of EastEnders as Theo Hawthorne, the former teacher of Freddie Slater who helped him with his ADHD diagnosis.
And on the back this innocent introduction Stacey Slater allowed him to home school her daughter who is heavily pregnant and was bullied by her classmates. However, Theo's sinister side rose to the surface when it was revealed that he was Stacey's secret cam client and had been stalking the Albert Square resident for weeks. Martin Fowler, played by James Bye and Eve Unwin, played by Heather Peace discover the terrifying truth about Theo.
Once it's clear that he has been found out Theo finally admits to what he has been putting Stacey through during tonight's episode. And so, as things gather pace, we take a look into the life of William Ellis, 42 and reveal his wife's shock confession ahead of their wedding day, their tragic baby loss and his career outside of the BBC soap.

William first met his wife Alice Hobden in 2011 after they rented a flat together. At the time Alice worked as a camera assistant. And it was due to her behind the scenes career that she made the shocking vow to never date an actor after witnessing a few things that turned her off them for good - until that is she met William.

Alice has previously admitted that she was wary walking down the aisle with William after he proposed as she had been briefly married before. And despite it taking eight years, the couple tied the knot in 2021 in west London .Speaking to The Times, she said: "It was a little bit scary I didn’t have a history of seeing marriages survive or do well." William and Alice had planned to wed in July 2020, however due to Covi they were forced to change their date twice.
TRAGIC BABY LOSS
After going through IVF both William and Alice were over the moon when they discovered that she was pregnant with their first child. But their joy was short lived when their son, who they named Dash, was born at just 25 weeks but sadly passed away just one week on from entering the world.
But the resilient couple continued to try and have a family and welcomed another baby boy, who they named Odie and pogiently, he was born on the same date their son Dash passed away. The arrival of their son is what prompted them to think about getting married again.
Alice told The Times: "We were stronger and closer than we ever have been. That was the absolute certainty for me that this is exactly what I want. We wanted more joy in our lives. We’d had a miserable two years. We just wanted something with all our family and friends and it just suddenly was the right time."
CAREER
William trained at London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in 2005 and started his career as a stage actor. The TV star has appeared in productions, including Romeo and Juliet, The Importance of Being Earnest and Cinderella. And while he has had small parts in programmes such as Doctors, he managed to land a role in Netflix drama, The Crown in 2019, playing the Queen's flight captain for one episode in season three.
