Meghan Markle and Prince Harry delighted fans when they were spotted at Beyoncé's concert in California this week.

The Break My Soul singer, 41, performed at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, on Friday for the first of her three shows at the venue of her Renaissance World Tour. Many stars, including Meghan and Harry, were in the audience.

While Meghan and her mother, Doria Ragland, 66, had a blast singing and dancing along to Beyoncé's songs, Prince Harry was pictured looking 'grim-faced'. At one point, he was also seen checking his phone.

Body language expert Judi James analysed the couple's concert appearance and said Meghan and her mum 'dropped their inhibitions' while Prince Harry was busy 'staring out ahead.'

"What on earth is wrong with Harry here?" she told the Mirror. "The evening looks like the best fun, with Meghan and Doria getting totally into the spirit of it, jumping about and dancing like ecstatic, excited fans. Both seem to have dropped their inhibitions to dance about in moves that are an expression of joy and happiness.

"Meghan has her hands up in the air or held head-high as she works some dance steps to the music while Doria has her phone held aloft like a true fan and both have huge grins of pleasure on their faces. The whole party seems to be in fun mood, apart, that is, from Harry."

She went on to discuss a photo of him checking his phone as well as a photo of Meghan with her hands on her hips as she turned towards Harry to check in on him.

"In one photo he’s standing back, away from the group and checking his phone. In another, he stands grim-faced and with his hands in his pockets, staring out ahead while a friend at the front seems to have turned, smiling, to urge him to join in," she continued.

"When Harry and Meghan are standing near each other Harry seems to be looking away from her with a stony expression while she face-checks him with her hands on her hips.

"The hand on the hip splay is often associated with anger, confrontation or a desire to challenge. This is very out of kilter, unsynchronised body language from a couple who are normally so totally in tune."

Meghan and Prince Harry met Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z a few years ago. The two couples interacted when they all attended the European premiere of Disney's live-action The Lion King (2019) in London four years ago.
