Logan Paul has been warned his head will "blow up" if he gets hit by Dillon Danis' replacement opponent Mike Perry.
UFC veteran Perry is serving as the backup opponent for Paul's upcoming fight against Danis on October 14. The pair are scheduled to meet at the Misfits Boxing 'Prime Card' in Manchester as the event will also feature KSI vs Tommy Fury. Perry sized Paul up during their staredown after the launch press conference for the event and the bare-knuckle boxer has now issued a threat to his potential opponent.
“I’m throwing nuclear bombs with 10-ounce gloves on. I hit your head, you know that little emoji with the head blowing up? That’s what’s going to happen," Perry told MMA Fighting. "A lot of the guys that I have fought, they have changed for the better. They became stronger but I’m sure I knock a couple screws loose.
"I might knock a couple loose on Logan. I plan to stop him if I’m the one fighting him. Who knows? Maybe Logan has a backup for his backup. Maybe he’s like ‘If Dillon pulls out then I’ll pull out and we’ll have this fighter fight Mike Perry for the co-main event.’ Maybe it will be me and Anthony Taylor."
“I just think they’ve had their eye on me for a little while as far as my fighting style, as far as my trash talk,” Perry told MMA Fighting. “I’ve said a couple of things about them I guess. It’s weird. It’s like they’re trying to keep my head open to preparing for a fight and preparing to fight on this date on this time but they can’t lock anything in. It can’t be guaranteed. I just have to stay ready like I always have.”

Perry is one of the few fighters to gain popularity after leaving the UFC, becoming a star in BKFC and even facing off with Conor McGregor after his win against Luke Rockhold in April. 'Platinum' expected to come to blows with McGregor but it was quite the opposite as they had a respectful staredown.
It's not Perry's first time serving as a replacement opponent this year as he was on call for Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury in February. Perry accused Jake of not paying him for his time, adding: "I’ve sparred Jake, he used my name as the backup fighter for him and Tommy but then he didn’t pay me. I believe Logan is going to do those things because they flew me out. that wasn’t for nothing. I keep it professional. I’m not green up on stage asking for attention. I do this for real.”
