Brit girl 'raped 10 times' in Gibraltar as police arrest Spanish man, 25

A British girl has allegedly been raped ten times by a male care worker in Gibraltar who has been charged in relation to the horrific incident.

Pedro Luis Garcia Vallejo, 25, has been remanded in custody and charged with ten counts of rape against an underage child and one count of sexual activity with a child. He is due back in court today. It is not known how old the unnamed British girl is.

It comes after cops on the Greek island of Halki launched a manhunt after another British teen reported she was raped by a tourist. The 15-year-old girl claimed she was raped by a 16-year-old Italian holidaymaker between 4.30am and 5am in the Pondamos area of the island last week. She visited a local doctor's office with her mum, 55, following the alleged attack.

Meanwhile, a British teenager who was allegedly gang-raped on the island of Mallorca by French tourists has injuries compatible with a sexual assault including grip marks on her arms, it has been claimed. Spanish Civil Guard police arrested five French tourists and one Swiss tourist for allegedly raping an 18-year-old British woman on the Spanish island two weeks ago. A judge in Palma, the main city in Mallorca, said police found there were video clips of the alleged rape on at least one of the suspect’s phones. And a forensic doctor detected grip marks on her arms.

The rape allegedly happened in Magaluf, a tourist spot in the town of Calvià, a very popular party destination for young tourists. The victim said she met the suspected rapists on Monday night and they continued the party back at a hotel because the bars and clubs were closed, but after returning the men began to intimidate her and then raped her, the police press office in Mallorca said.

Civil Guard showed up at the hotel after receiving a phone call from the hotel’s security staff who found the young woman crying in desperation. Police detained the suspects, all over 20 years old, shortly after. The alleged victim received immediate medical attention and counselling. The Civil Guard took the detainees before a judge in a court in Palma de Mallorca on Tuesday.
