Prince Harry and his brother William have been at loggerheads for a while now, with Kate Middleton now armed with a plan to reunite the two princes and in turn bring back the brotherly love.

It is claimed that there will be a "summer summit" of sorts taking place at Balmoral in the coming days, and the Princess of Wales has a cunning plan. With the family set to reunite in Scotland ahead of the anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's death, Kate is "urging" the King to ask his youngest son to join them at the estate.

Prince Harry will return to London at the start of September, with the Duke of Sussex set to present the WellChild Awards in the capital. And with him flying to England from Montecito, California, it has been speculated that he and Charles could partake in "peace talks" following on from the backlash of Harry's book Spare and the bombshell Netflix series he released with his wife Meghan Markle last winter.

But Kate is seemingly eyeing up some peace talks between her husband Prince William and his estranged brother Harry, with a source telling New Idea that should Kate's wish come true, it will be "overdue that they work in healing this terrible rift". The source explained that it's what the Queen would have wanted, with Charles keen on reminding his family of this poignant fact.

"William is still angry though, and struggles with the idea of making any concessions towards Harry," the source added, before seemingly unveiling Kate's clever plan. "Kate believes there's no way they can fix things until the two brothers get in the same room and air our their grievances to each other. It's the only way," they added.

The source urged that healing can only happen with Harry's presence, which is why Kate is said to be "urging" her father-in-law The King, to extend Harry an invite to his Scottish Highlands estate. Battling her loyalty to the Crown and her loyalty to her husband, Kate is said to be getting her husband "used to the inevitable - he needs a face-to-face with Harry".

A separate source then touched on how it's poignant that the Princess of Wales is pushing for a reunion between William and Harry on the anniversary of Her Majesty's death, "in the same place in which they all said goodbye to her".
