Eamonn Holmes halts live GB News show to respond to wife Ruth's complaint
Eamonn Holmes brought his live GB News breakfast show on Wednesday morning to a standstill as he hit back at a complaint from none other than his wife, Ruth Langsford.
The GB News presenter, 63, along with his co-host, Isabel Webster shared a laugh as they took some time out from reporting on the latest headlines to deliver a cheeky comeback to Loose Women host Ruth, also 63.
As the cameras panned back on Eamonn and Isabel after the morning weather report, viewers could see Eamonn standing up behind his desk as he beckoned the cameras to come closer.
Eamonn could be heard telling viewers at home: "The reason I'm standing up here, is we've had a viewer complaint," before his co-presenter burst into laughter.

After his admission, Isabel questioned Eamonn on who made the complaint before he confessed that his wife Ruth had been mocking him about the position and height of his seat while presenting the morning show.
"Her name's Ms Ruth Langsford. And she's phoned in to say she doesn't like the position of my seat. If I fall off.... is it alright? I don't know. Push me in, Maria. See people think these things happen easily. Is that okay, Ms Langsford? Is that okay?" Eamonn joked.
Eamonn's cheeky quip about Ruth comes after he was recently supported by his fans after he shared a 'mood changing' health update amid his ongoing battle with chronic pain.

Last week, Eamonn took to Instagram to share a new update as he revealed that his mood is easily changed amid his agonising battle and seemingly endless pain.
