One Direction star Liam Payne's girlfriend Kate Cassidy celebrated the singer's milestone 30th birthday following his terrifying hospital dash.
The 30-year-old former boy band member was forced to cancel his upcoming tour after suffering a 'serious kidney infection.' Liam was set to perform in South America but was told to 'rest and recover' following his health scare. Last week, the For You hitmaker offered his apology to fans and said those who had purchased tickets for his tour would be refunded.
At the time, the singer said: "I was beyond excited to come play for you guys. To all of you who have bought tickets: I'm so sorry." Now recovering at home, Payne seems to be enjoying a low-key birthday with his girlfriend Kate as she shared snaps of the pair to commemorate the day.

Happy birthday love,' Kate shared photos of the couple posing for selfies on holiday and enjoying a trip to Disney World." Fans of the singer rushed to wish him a happy birthday. One social media user commented: "So adorable Happy birthday Liam." Another person said: "How is he 30 already."
It comes after the couple rekindled their romance in June when they put on a loved-up display at a star-studded party. Liam and Kate had gone their separate ways after 10 months of dating, as they struggled to make their relationship work. A source told The Sun at the time: 'There was no big row or anything - it just ran its course and they both mutually decided to go their separate ways. Liam knows it’s the right decision, he's been throwing himself into his music and the rest of the year he is jampacked with work.'
One Direction now - comeback plans, car crash interview and lots of daytime TV
His latest tour cancellation comes after Liam opened up about his mental health earlier this year, revealing doctors had diagnosed him with 'a couple of conditions' after visiting a wellness clinic in America and admitted he had reached 'rock bottom'.
Liam has previously been open about his health struggles and just weeks ago, he was hospitalised with a kidney infection (Simon West/Action Plus/REX/Shutterstock)Liam detailed the 'super low' episodes and 'manic' moments in his life in an open and honest post on his Instagram page where he said: "So I mean I filmed a bunch for theses over time and deleted them but I don't know whether this is the right time," he explained in a video clip.
"I know in my last video I mentioned I'd been diagnosed with a couple of conditions and I will not go into too much detail, but one of them I have is, there's a lot of manic things in my life which you guys saw. But the other side of it is and that kind of feels like when when I would lose my sobriety in these moments that were super low and I felt like that today.
Liam has previously been open about his health and said that he only had "one kidney" that worked due to multiple problems at the time of his birth. Writing in One Direction's first autobiography Dare to Dream - Life as One Direction in 2011, he said: "When I was born I was effectively dead. Weird, I know. The doctors couldn't get any reaction from me so I had to be brought round and although it seemed like I was okay, there were underlying problems.
"I was born three weeks early and I kept being ill. From the age of zero to four I was always in hospital having tests done but they couldn't find out what was wrong. They discovered that one of my kidneys wasn't working properly and it had scarred. I had to have 32 injections in my arm in the morning and evening to try and make me better. I've still got both kidneys but one doesn't work so I have to be careful not to drink too much, even water, and I have to keep myself as healthy as possible."
