Amy Dowden detailed her terrifying battle with sepsis, revealing the horrifying health scare was near-fatal as she reunited with the doctors who saved her life. The Strictly Come Dancing professional picked up the illness during her first round of chemotherapy.

Amy's symptoms proceeded to get 'worse very, very quickly'. She quickly became breathless and complained of a pain in her chest, according to her mum Gillian. "She went to stand, then just sort of crumpled back onto the settee," she told Hello! magazine.
