Thug offers XL bully dog with 'serious swimmers' to breeders after savage attack
A domestic abuser who a threw a television at her girlfriend while she was having a bath offered her "dangerously out of control" XL bully up for breeding on Facebook.
Thug Armani Costello, who was convicted for the year-long campaign of violence on her partner, bragged the creature he had "serious swimmers" months after a terrifying attack. Last November, the 20-year-old's dog was involved in a vicious fight with two others after Costello took two of her pets out for a walk off their leads, the Liverpool Echo reports.
Costello was jailed after jurors heard she hurled ornaments at her victim before headbutting her during regular assaults, leaving her living as a "recluse". Her behaviour was reported to the police following this incident, leading to her arrest on February 2. Giving a prepared statement to detectives under interview, she claimed the allegations were "all lies" and that her girlfriend was "making it all up".
Costello was previously handed a 22-week imprisonment suspended for 18 months on November 2022 for stalking and threatening to disclose private sexual images, committed against a former partner. She was also given a youth referral order in 2020 for offences of criminal damage, battery, affray and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place in relation to another girlfriend.

Ms Beesley added: "She is a very young 20 years old. Her age and maturation, coupled with her ADHD and anger issues, have been a concoction for chaos in her life. She has shown she does have the capacity to support herself and contribute to family life and society. She has had difficulties in her home life.
"She has sought comfort in unhealthy relationships. She knows her mental health and anger issues are the catalyst for her offending. She does want to change. She is a young woman. She does have a future ahead of her and she does need some assistance. She simply wishes to receive the sentence your honour gives her with grace and move on with her life."
Costello pleaded guilty to controlling and coercive behaviour and breaching a suspended sentence order. Appearing via video link to HMP Styal wearing a black Montirex puffer jacket on Tuesday, she was handed 30 months in a young offenders' institute and an indefinite restraining order.
Sentencing, Recorder Peter Cowan said: "One can only hope that, as you mature, you will be able to form more normal relationships with people and not indulge in the sort of behaviour you have indulged in. Suffice to say she was severely abused by you, suffering significant injuries and psychological trauma.
"She suffers from flashbacks and nightmares. She has become reclusive. Ultimately, it is up to you to take control of your emotions and avoid sinking into that spiral of conduct which is toxic to you and to others. All I can say is that I hope you will use the sentence constructively, as you have been using your time in custody constructively to date."
Last year, her dogs approached Phillip Webster's two Jack Russells in St Helens, Merseyside. Mr Webster told the Liverpool Echo the incident resulted in the death of one of his dogs who he said was "pinned against the gates" by another. However, the court was told Chopper had not been responsible for any of the violent actions.
Costello admitted being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control. She was fined £70 by District Judge Laura Nash and told to pay court costs. Reports also noted a Facebook post from July 4 last year, in which the defendant appeared to be offering her dog for breeding - stating he had "serious swimmers" and is "already proven". The status read: "My boy's open for stud. He's got some serious swimmers and he's already proven. Lettin the first 3 lock-ins go for £500 or pup back deal to get him started again."
The post also included a video on Instagram which appeared to show the dog's semen under a microscope. Costello's caption read: "Studding gorgeous boy out. He's has 236 million semen in one mill. He is a champagne merl, her carries chocolate and few other, message for more information."
