A Fortnite Khaby Lame skin has been all but confirmed for the new season, but players are hoping it won't be part of the battle pass, bumping out potentially more exciting collaborations.

Despite having very little to go off of, it was easy to decipher that a Fortnite Khaby Lame skin is on the way to the game in the upcoming Chapter 4 Season 4. Right now it's unclear as to whether or not the Khaby Lame skin will be in the battle pass, the Item Shop, or redeemable in another way.

With Chapter 4 Season 3 coming to a close, it was only a matter of time before Fortnite began to tease new skins. The Fortnite Khaby Lame skin was first teased by the man himself on his Tik Tok account, and shortly afterwards, the official Fortnite Twitter account followed up with an image showing the silhouette of a character standing in the iconic pose the TikTok Star uses in all of his videos, along with emojis that also imitate the pose. So it's safe to say we're getting a Fortnite Khaby Lame skin.

The Khaby Lame skin will be a part of the Icon Series of skins in Fortnite. This a specific type of cosmetic rarity that is reserved for skins of notable figures, such as Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars and Ninja.

Chapter 4 Season 4 is going live today once downtime is over. We don't know if the Fortnite Khaby Lame skin will go live immediately or whether it will unlock later in the season. What we do know, thanks to the new trailer that dropped, is that the theme of Chapter 4 Season 4 is heist-related.

What a Lame Gimmick...

Despite being pretty excited for the Fortnite Khaby Lame skin, I'm hoping that it's not a part of the battle pass, taking the spot of a potentially more exciting collaboration. One thing that consistently draws me back to Fortnite every season are the new cosmetics – although there is the addition of new mechanics every now and then, as well as new weapons that can be a draw. Especially when they follow the seasonal theme.

Although the crossovers we've seen in Chapter 4 Season 3 were cool, they didn't particularly tickle my fancy, which means I haven't touched the game at all throughout the entire season. A Fortnite Khaby Lame collab is a fun idea, but I'm hoping the next battle pass is interesting enough to encourage me to play – so if it ends up being part of the battle pass I'll be disappointed that Fortnite is settling on a TikTok star as its major collab of the season.
