Emmerdale fans think they have predicted a huge Charity Dingle baby bombshell ahead of the ITV super soap week.

Only recently, Charity star Emma Atkins, 48, confirmed that her character will be at the "centre" of the super soap week, as well as Mackenzie Boyd and Chloe Harris. It's been a tumultuous few weeks for Charity who has been left heartbroken after discovering that her husband, Mackenzie, secretly fathered a child behind her back with Chloe after a one-night stand.

Charity ended things with Mackenzie, who has since pursued things romantically with Chloe. However, things took an explosive turn on Wednesday night when Mackenzie cheated on Chloe as he slept with ex Charity just hours before his baby son's christening, leaving the latter hopeful for a reunion.

With Charity and Mackenzie sleeping together amid the two characters set to be part of the super soap week, viewers think Charity could be pregnant in a huge baby bombshell.

Taking to social media, one person said: "Wouldn't it be ironic if Charity fell pregnant from her romp with Mack? #emmerdale", a different account put: "Charity will be pregnant in a few weeks #Emmerdale", another follower wrote: "What's betting Charity’s going be pregnant … I love her and Mackenzie together" while a different fan added: "I can see Charity getting pregnant now."

It comes as Charity star Emma teased about the upcoming super soap week to Digital Spy: "I'm very excited! Some super soap weeks I don't manage to be part of, which is just the way it goes. So to be at the centre and for it to be quite a big storm brewing – not literally a storm, we've done that! I just know that it's going to be spectacular in one way or another and we're due to get the scripts shortly, but it's going to be quite big."

Teasing further details, Emma added: "I think the future will very much be about her confronting those issues [the love triangle], because it's left her quite broken. At the moment she's too broken to deal with anything, but she's just letting people know it's in her arsenal, it's there, it's not going away, it's not dying down. She was hoping very much for it to do that and it's not, it's got worse."
