If you want the fastest phone on the planet then the iPhone 15 could be one to watch out for. This latest and greatest device from Apple could launch next month and it looks set to annihilate the competition when it comes to performance. It's no secret that Apple already makes some of the quickest smartphones on the planet with the flagship iPhone 14 Pro Max coming top of the charts in processor speed tests.
However, the iPhone 15 could take things to a whole new level and give rivals such as Samsung and Google a serious headache.
Although nothing has yet been confirmed, rumours are swirling around the web that Apple will include its latest A17 chip inside the iPhone 15 and it could be an absolute beast.
In fact, some are predicting that it will feature 3nm (nanometer) technology rather than the current 4nm used on the A16 Bionic.
If true, it will make a huge difference with 3nm chips able to perform more tasks at the same time whilst using less power.

Explaining more, the team at MacRumors said: "3nm should provide the biggest performance and efficiency leap to Apple's chips since 2020."
With Apple already leading the pack, a monster update to its next device could see its Android rivals left even further behind.
To add fuel to the fire, one tech tipster, called Unknownz21 has posted expected specs from the A17 on X (formerly Twitter ) which gives an idea of just how powerful things could get. According to the tweet, this chip will get 3nm technology plus feature 6 CPU Cores + 6 GPU Cores along with 3.70 GHz speeds up from around 3.4GHz on the current iPhone 14.
Of course, Apple never reveals any of its upgrades ahead of the launch so we'll have to wait and see exactly what will feature on these new devices.
Luckily, there shouldn't be too long to find out with Mirror Online predicting that September 12 will be date all is revealed.
Along with that update to the processor, rumours suggest the iPhone 15 will ditch the Lightning port and switch to USB-C instead. Although this upgrade will be annoying for those with loads of Lightning cables, it could offer much quicker charging speeds.
A new titanium design could also feature along with a screen that gets slimmer bezels.
It's also likely that Apple will boost the cameras, improve the battery life and add some new colours to the range.
