Coleen Rooney makes a fresh dig at Rebekah Vardy in a new TV documentary about the Wagatha Christie court case.

The first details of the new Coleen Rooney TV documentary have been revealed and Coleen has admitted she never thought her Instagram story calling out Rebekah Vardy for selling stories about her and her family would result in a court case. Coleen is in the process of releasing an exclusive tell-all documentary with streaming giant Disney+.

The three-part series is expected to air this winter and will be portrayed from Coleen's perspective of how the dramatic ordeal changed her and her husband's lives. It turned into a huge court case lasting three years, which Coleen went on to win.

In the episodes, the mum-of-four says of the fact the pair ended up in court: "When I put that post up I didn't think in a million years think that I would be in a court case. I had a message off Rebekah saying: 'what the f**k is this?' I just wanted the leaks to stop. It was so sneaky, it was cheeky. Rebekah was the one who was taking ME to court."

Coleen also issued a savage dig at Rebekah, telling her in the documentary, "Don't play games with a girl who can play better. What I put in that post is what I believed at the time and what I still believe today. They are my words and I stick by them."

However, Coleen also admitted she didn't feel like Rebekah should have got the trolling she received. Recently, Coleen had also broken her silence on the case that gripped the nation, saying she felt like Rebekah's texts were 'evil'.

"I feel like a lot of people still don’t understand what happened, from beginning to end. But what I said in that post, I still stick by today," Coleen told British Vogue recently of her feelings towards what happened, "I felt like she was in the same world as me. She was in the public eye. I thought she would be protective over that kind of thing. We could associate because our husbands had played for England together. But she doesn’t live around here. She wasn’t a friend. I’ve never socialised with her."

*Three part series Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story will air on Disney+ later this year.
