VonViddy, who rose to fame on TikTok, who was struggling with his mental health, has died after posting a haunting video.
The TikTok user, real name Joseph Muchlinski, took his own life according to his sister, Martha Muchlinkski. The sister of the late star posted a video of her own, stating: "I do want to confirm for his fans that he did lose his long battle with mental illness and he did take his own life." She went on to say that the star "Fought a long and really terrible battle with his mental illness."
The caption of Martha's video read: "Joe was my first word. He was my older brother, my only sibling, and this is one of the worst days of my life. I know folks have been concerned since his (Vonviddy’s) last video and deserve some closure."

Fans shared their grief over the loss of the star (VonViddy/TIKTOK)The news is even more devastating after seeing the last video VonViddy posted on his account, seemingly the one that his sister was referring to. Two days before his death was announced, the star posted a video captioned: "It's all love." In the video, he addressed the camera, saying: "Hi. My name is VonViddy, my real name is Joe Muchlinski and I want to be remembered as a creator."
"As a creator of videos that made people laugh, and a creator of music. I also want to be remembered as a camp counsellor, who helped kids make happy memories. I'd rather not be remembered as an addict and an alcoholic who put his family through hell. But unfortunately, that's also part of me," he continued.

VonViddy went on to thank his fans, saying: "I feel so thankful to have such a following. You guys mean the world to me. All and all, I've had a terrific life. I got to visit the other side of the world and I've made tons of friends from all walks of life. I have nothing to complain about and I have nothing but peace and love for each and every one of you."
Fans called the last video on his profile 'chilling' (VonViddy/TIKTOK)The minute and six second TikTok originally sparked concern from his thousands of followers, with one commenting on the video: "Your message seems like a goodbye, idk what's going on man I hope it's not, but your content is great and you're a positive person. love u brother."
Martha also posted a series of childhood photos of her brother, who was only 32 years old when he died. In her original video, she mentioned that "TikTok meant a lot to him. It gave him joy, it gave him something to laugh at and to make other people laugh at and he really appreciated that."
Fans posted tributes to the late star in the comments section of his last video. One said: "Your words are so haunting. I can't believe you're gone. Rest in peace, VonViddy. Much love to his family, I am so sorry for your loss." One fan said VonViddy was "one of the reasons why I started making videos in the first place." Another mentioned the haunting tone this video now takes, writing: "For this to be the final goodbye is chilling."
