LeBron James was spotted with his son Bronny at a Drake concert.

As the music icon made his way into California’s Crypto.com Arena for a concert, the four-time NBA champion and his eldest child followed behind. The crowd roared with delight as the trio made their appearance and walked toward the stage.

On footage captured on a big screen at the concert, Bronny smiled as Drake shook his hand on the way to the stage. This is one of the few times the teenager has been seen in public since suffering a cardiac arrest during a training session at the University of Southern California last month.

The teenager was rushed to Cedars Sinai Medical Center where he was treated for several days before he was discharged. He was spotted out for the first time at the end of July going out for dinner alongside his family. The family enjoyed an evening at Giorgio Baldi, a famous Italian restaurant in Santa Monica, Los Angeles.

His parents uploaded a video of the basketball prodigy playing the piano once he had returned home to continue his recovery. James, a four-time NBA champion, took to social media to thank fans for their love and support during a very difficult time for him and his family.

"I want to thank the countless people sending my family love and prayers," the LA Lakers star said in a positive message. "We feel you and I’m so grateful. Everyone doing great. We have our family together, safe and healthy, and we feel your love. Will have more to say when we’re ready but I wanted to tell everyone how much your support has meant to all of us!"

Bronny is due to play college basketball at the University of Southern California next season after earning McDonald's All-American honors this year. One of Shaquille O'Neal's sons Sahreef has his own experiences when it comes to heart issues. The 23-year-old underwent open-heart surgery in 2018.

He made a recovery and is currently competing in the G-League and has aspirations of playing in the NBA just like his legendary father. He has assured Bronny that he will be fine to continue playing and achieve his dream of playing in the NBA. "He's good. I don't think it will affect anything," Shareef told TMZ.

The elder James has aspirations of competing in the NBA alongside his son. Should Bronny enter the league in 2024, the four-time NBA champion will turn 40 in December of next year. But though this is his dream, James is unsure if his son feels exactly the same. "I was serious," James said. "And I'm still serious about it. Obviously, I've got to continue to keep my body and my mind fresh, I think my mind most importantly.

"But at the end of the day, I've done what I had to do in this league, and my son is going to take his journey. Just because it's my aspiration [to play together] doesn't mean it's his, and I'm absolutely OK with that," James added. "My job is just to support my son in whatever he wants to do. One thing about being a parent is it's not always about what you want. It's about listening to your kids and what they want, and that's when you get a real relationship."
