Epic Games are notorious for hosting large-scale elaborate live events to kick off its new seasons, but so far it's unclear as to whether or not there will be a Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 live event.

With Chapter 4 Season 3 coming to an end soon, the question on everyone's mind right now is whether or not Epic Games will host a Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 live event. After introducing collaborations galore during Chapter 4 Season 3 including the likes of WWE and Jujutsu Kaisen and unvaulting some fan-favourite items, the season is almost at its end.

The last Fortnite live event happened at the end of Chapter 3 Season 4, which marked not only the end of a season but the finishing point of the entire chapter. The Fracture event prompted players to travel through space and restore the damaged Zero Point, with the grand finale being the reveal of the current map in Chapter 4.

As of right now, we haven't seen a single live event during Chapter 4, which is a little strange considering there was one to mark the end of every season during Chapter 3.

Will there be a Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 live event?

In simple terms, no. There has been no confirmation from Epic Games about a live event occurring, which they usually do a few days before the event itself, paired with a countdown within the client. Since this hasn't happened, we can assume there won't be a live event. Typically data miners find information surrounding a live event in the game's files prior to the event and, disappointingly, there have been none this time around.

The next potential live event would be at the end of Chapter 4 Season 4, which will likely mark the end of Chapter 4 if it follows the previous Chapter, as well as the end of the season. If Epic Games decided not to go ahead with a live event to celebrate the start of a new Chapter, it's likely that they are abandoning the live event model altogether.

At the bare minimum, it's apparent that the company is scaling back its number of live events, with us currently being at the end of Season 3 and still yet to see a live event during Chapter 4. We can only hope we see them return soon, potentially with the start of a new Chapter.
