Stacey Solomon couldn't contain her excitement after making her debut in Emmerdale.
The mum-of-five, 33, was name-checked in the soap on Monday during a conversation between Lydia (Karen Blick) and Sam Dingle (James Hooton). When a viewer tagged the Sort Your Life Out star on Instagram during the episode, saying: "When you are watching Emmerdale and @staceysolomon gets a mention," Stacey was over the moon.
Replying to the post, she said: " Omg why am I so excited by this," with a laughing emoji, adding: "Can't believe I made it on to Emmerdale LIFE GOAL."
Stacey and her husband, Joe Swash, who was a regular on EastEnders for years playing Mickey Miller, have become the ultimate power couple, bagging big brand deals with a host of companies.

Stacey has been wowing fans for years with her helpful DIY and crafting tips that keep Pickle Cottage looking picture perfect. And now her millions of followers can get the look themselves as Stacey has revealed she has collaborated with her favourite shop – George at Asda – for her very own homeware range.

Taking to Instagram to share the news with her 5.7 million followers, she said: “I’m really nervous. So for a long time I’ve been working on something that’s really close to my heart. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do, but I’ve never found the right person to do it with. Finally I did find the right brand and the right people that I wanted to work with – and I can finally tell you that I’ve created my own homeware range.”
Stacey and Joe recently returned from Turkey where they enjoyed a lavish holiday with their kids, five month-old-Belle, Rose, one, Zachary, 15, Leighton, 11, and four-year-old Rex.
The Pickle Cottage residents looked like they had a whale of a time at the luxury resort, which featured in a number of Stacey's Instagram Stories. However, some of the presenter's fans criticised her for "not living in the real world anymore." One commented: "Sorry Stacey but an average family could not afford this hotel you are very lucky to be able to afford this."
In response, the Dagenham-born star replied: "I'll do a little holiday Q&A while I'm on my way to work tomorrow night so feel free to ask away" before she added: "If me sharing our holiday doesn't make you feel good then unfollow or just mute me or something. I love coming on here and sharing things so much and I love out community on here."
