Coleen Rooney's new documentary series about the bombshell Wagatha Christie legal battle will be dropping on Disney+, offering viewers an insight into the case.
In the first look of the series, the wife of Wayne Rooney sits in court with a notebook in front of her. The series will have inside information of the key players involved in the case - including Coleen, her family and friends.
Titled Coleen Rooney : The Real Wagatha Story, the series will focus on how Coleen used her Instagram to find out why her personal stories were appearing in the press. Her "sting operation" had her accusing Rebekah Vardy of leaking "false stories" about her and her family's lives to the press.
It led to a trial that had Rebekah lose a libel battle against 36-year-old Coleen after a High Court judge found the post about Rebekah was "substantially true." At the time, Rebekah said Judge Justice Steyn 'got it wrong' with her ruling, adding that "it is not the result that I had expected, nor believe was just".
A first look shows Coleen with an open notebook (Ben Blackall/Disney+)The Disney+ documentary is made by Dorothy Street Pictures and Lorton Entertainment and is directed and produced by Lucy Bowden. An air date for the series is yet to be announced.

The documentary will also be covering how her personal life as well as her marriage to Wayne has been shown in the public for the last two decades.
News of the documentary came after Coleen - who has been married to Wayne since 2008 - broke her silence about the court case in an exclusive interview with Vogue.
"I feel like a lot of people still don’t understand what happened, from beginning to end. But what I said in that post, I still stick by today," Coleen told British Vogue. "I felt like she was in the same world as me. She was in the public eye. I thought she would be protective over that kind of thing. We could associate because our husbands had played for England together. But she doesn’t live around here. She wasn’t a friend. I’ve never socialised with her."

The WAG said the whole experience was 'painful' and 'very difficult' to sit on the same bench as Rebekah.
Rebekah famously sued Coleen, 37, for libel in 2022, over the latter's online allegations that she had leaked stories about her to the press. The 41-year-old would ultimately lose the libel case, however, after a judge found that the claims were 'substantially true.' The loss has left Rebekah with legal bills amounting to over £1.5 million, 90% of which were to be paid to Coleen.
The case was famously dubbed Wagatha Christie, which refers to the term (Wags) and has historically been used in the British tabloid press to describe the wives and girlfriends of famous footballers. It also came from the detective fiction writer, Agatha Christie.
