Taylor Swift's fans are known to be dedicated, but this time things got a little extreme for the singer.
Producer and musician Jack Antonoff got married this past weekend to actress Margaret Qualley. Jack and Margaret held their rehearsal dinner last Friday night at the Black Whale Corner bar in Long Beach Island, New Jersey. Taylor is a longtime collaborator and close friend with Jack, so her fans made the obvious conclusion that she would no doubt be in attendance.
The fans flooded the street outside the restaurant hoping to get a glimpse of their favourite musician. The road was closed down as Swifties cheered and chanted Taylor's name as they waited for her to make an appearance. She finally emerged from the restaurant, escorted by security as she was rushed to a car.

The app was filled with people criticising fans for being "psychotic". One user pointed out the look on Taylor's face and said: "This is not the look of a woman who is happy to see y'all." The user went on to say the fans were "disrespectful" and couldn't believe their "audacity."
Another user wrote that the situation was "wildly creepy and psychotic." Someone else believed that it was "barbaric behaviour" and said fans should let the singer "live her life".

But even with road closures and throngs of fans, the wedding seemed to go off without a hitch. Jack and Margaret tied the knot at Parker's Garage also in Long Beach Island. Various celebrities were in attendance besides Taylor such as Channing Tatum, Zoe Kravitz, and Lana Del Rey. The couple got engaged in May of this year and were first linked romantically in 2021.

Since then, the two have worked on every album Taylor has released since then, even the re-released Taylor's Version albums. The Taylor's Version of 1989 is due out 27 October, with rumours swirling on social media that Taylor will release a duet of her song Style with Harry Styles, who the song is rumoured to be about.
For his work with Taylor, Jack has won two Grammy Awards. He was also the lead singer of the band Fun who won the Best New Artist Grammy in 2013 and their song We Are Young won the Grammy for Song of the Year.
