Mum-of-22 Sue Radford 'nearly died' from choking during lavish family holiday
Sue Radford says she 'nearly died' after choking on a prawn while on holiday with her family in Florida.
The 22 Kids and Counting star, 48, has taken her brood to the US again to explore the Sunshine State. However, after treating herself to a spot of seafood, Sue says the trip turned sour as she opened up about the 'terrifying' experience.
Taking to Instagram, crediting her daughter Katie with 'slamming me on the back a few times till it came flying out', Sue shared a snap of a big bag of seafood with the caption: “Seafood boil tonight. Saw my life flash in front of me choking on a prawn... Gosh this was so scary I’ve never choked before but know what to do with kids if this happens but I’m trying to hand gesture to everyone that I’m choking. Thank god Katie was sat next to me and knew what to do."

Katie shared a photo of Sue's 'slapped back' after the choking incident (@theradfordfamily/Instagram)Admitting the ordeal 'scared the life out of her', the reality star also shared a snap of her back with a bright red hand print, which Katie captioned: "The hand mark from helping my mum from choking," followed by two laughing emojis.
Britain's biggest family is currently enjoying its 18th holiday in 22 months and has been sharing plenty of pics from the lavish Florida resort they’re staying in. Although Sue and Noel have been relatively quiet on social media on this family trip so far, their kids Chris and Katie have been updating fans on Instagram, sharing a glimpse into the fun-filled getaway as they soak up the scorching sunshine in Richmond West in Miami.

However, some of the family's followers have slammed the Radfords for taking another trip abroad, prompting Sue to insist on Instagram their lives are not perfect. Appearing to comment on the backlash, sharing a sweet snap of her kids larking about in the sun, she said: “Just loving watching them having so much fun. Sometimes life is hard but these moments are what we live for. So blessed.”
The cryptic message comes amid ongoing rumours of a feud with Sue's 21-year-old daughter Millie. Noticeably absent from the trip, Millie, who is pregnant with her third child, slammed her mum on social media in April after the matriarch surprised her other grandchildren with a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Florida.
Clearly feeling left out, Millie called out the TV star for not inviting her kids, Ophelia Jo and Chester Bleu, on the trip after choosing to take several other grandchildren instead. Over a screenshot of a video which Sue posted on her her Instagram account, Millie re-posted the video with the caption: "Cute? But you've made money from all your grandchildren but choose your favourites. Said my piece."
