Celebs Go Dating's Mark-Francis squirms as date calls out 'defensive' behaviour

Celebs Go Dating is set for awkward scenes on Monday's episode as Mark-Francis Vandelli is called out by his date for his "defensive" behaviour.

In an exclusive teaser clip, it sees Made In Chelsea star Mark-Francis, 33, go for dinner with one of the people from Sunday's mixer event for the celebrities. However, when his date asks if he were to cook would the food be burnt, Mark-Francis replies: "I would serve you crab, smoked salmon and caviar because you can't really go wrong, can you?"

However, his date refuses to reply which prompts Mark-Francis to quip: "I don't think you agree... oops!" Hitting back, his date responds: "I don't necessarily disagree... it was just a very non-giving answer... very defensive!", leaving the celebrity squirming.

Prior to the date, it's time for the show's first confessionals with the agents determined to crack Mark-Francis' hard exterior and reveal the man behind his glamorous Made in Chelsea persona. Taking on board Dr T's advice from the mixer to not be too dismissive on his date, it appears the dinner later doesn't go to plan.

Elsewhere on Monday's episode, Vanessa Feltz prepares for her first date in 17 years following a devastating split from her cheating younger ex earlier this year. The presenter's engagement to singer Ben Ofoedu, 51, ended in February after he admitted being unfaithful and sexting a second woman.

With tips, tricks and advice from the agents ready, newly-single Vanessa, 61, is ready for sparks to fly on her date, who she met at Sunday's mixer. Although, things fall flat as Vanessa quickly discovers that her date might not be as bubbly as he first seemed...

Also on the episode, things get real in the confessional room when Dr T and Paul break down whether Lottie Moss' sex positive flirtation techniques are actually a defence mechanism. This leads Lottie, 25, to open up about her past dating history and admit some hard, painful truths. Can Lottie open up to her dates to show the real her and make meaningful connections?

Also making the star-studded line-up this year is Love Island bombshell Adam Collard, fellow Islander Chloe Burrows and internet prankster Spuddz. It comes as agent Anna Williamson teased to the Mirror what fans can expect from the upcoming series: "Every single celebrity has taken to the dating game with gusto and as a result they each have had some enormous highs and lows and everything else in between!" The dating agent has also promised that fans can expect the most "dynamic, explosive, dramatic and sexiest" series they've ever had in the history of the show."
