EastEnders is edging closer to its big Christmas death, with a male character to be killed off on Christmas Day - while their identity is still not known.
The big twist was teased in February in a special flashforward clip, with six female characters stood around a dead body. The women at the scene of the crime in The Queen Vic are Sharon Watts, Suki Panesar, Kathy Beale, Denise Fox, Stacey Slater and Linda Carter.
But amid some big cast news recently and a few twists and turns, some fans are convinced Keanu Taylor will end up being the body on the floor in the big episode. Here we take a look at all the clues that could point to Keanu being killed off in December...

Keanu recently split from Sharon after believing she had betrayed him. Sharon helped Lisa Fowler flee with her granddaughter Peggy, knowing Peggy's dad Keanu wanted her to stay in Walford. Having not seen his daughter for the past three years, since she was a baby, he had hoped to have access to visiting her, but knew her going back to Portugal, where her mother Louise Mitchell lives, could mean he wouldn't see her again.
The pair have remained apart, but this doesn't explain why Sharon is wearing a wedding dress on Christmas Day. She and Keanu were engaged before their split, so might they reconcile and have a festive wedding? If this is the case, it could well mean he is the suited body laying dead on the floor.

Exit news
It was recently confirmed that Keanu's onscreen mother Karen Taylor is leaving the soap. It's thought she will leave later this year or at the start of next year. It's not known what could possibly lead to Karen leaving her family and kids behind in Walford.
Following the murder of her daughter Chantelle on the BBC soap in 2020, fans have questioned if Karen will tragically lose another child in the coming months. If Keanu is the murder victim this Christmas, it could well be what triggers grieving Karen to leave Walford for good. Her exit has left fans convinced Keanu will die.

The character had been hiding away ever since the Mitchells tried to have him killed on Christmas Day 2019. This was due to him cheating on Phil Mitchell's daughter Louise with Phil's then wife Sharon.
Keanu got both women pregnant before his lies were exposed. In 2023 he suddenly returned, not wanting to run away anymore and wanting to be back with his family in Walford. He wanted to be with Sharon and their young son Albie and Phil eventually allowed this. But could the reason for bringing Keanu back have been the big Christmas twist all along? After all, he's not exactly on the best terms with the Mitchells but also the Panesars, so what's the betting he will end up crossing either family again.
History repeating itself
Speaking of his run-in with the Mitchells, Keanu was 'killed off' on Christmas Day 2019. The character was supposedly shot dead by Martin Fowler in this episode after being kidnapped, on the orders of Phil, Ben and Louise who were blackmailing Martin.
Of course it later emerged on New Year's Day that Keanu was alive and Martin, with the help of Linda Carter, had faked his death. Keanu fled and his fate was only confirmed to the Mitchells two months later, when he returned for revenge before fleeing again. But in a twist of fate, could Keanu die on Christmas Day for real this time?
