Stacey Solomon has been furiously defended by her loyal fans after she was shamed over her luxury trip to Turkey.
The Loose Women star has a huge following on social media thanks to her relatable content, as she shares her daily struggles being a busy mum with five kids. But the Sort Your Life Out star faced a fierce backlash recently when she revealed she and husband Joe Swash had jetted off to Turkey for a luxurious trip to a five-star hotel.
The 33-year-old took her kids – Zachary, 15, Leighton, 11, Rex, 4, Rose, 1 and baby Belle – to the Regnum Carya hotel in Antalya, which boasts a private beach, countless fine dining restaurants, and plush surroundings. However, some of her 5.7 million followers were quick to criticise the holiday, which reportedly cost in the region of £47,000, calling it “tone deaf” amid a raging cost of devastating crisis.

It’s all getting rather sickening now,” one fumed. “How relatable a 47k holiday,” another sarcastically added. “Sorry Stacey but an average family could not afford this hotel, you are very lucky to be able to afford this,” one former fan commented.
“I’m not bothered about your money and your discounts what horrifies me is you have blatantly rubbed peoples noses in your advertising to get discounts while other unfortunate families can’t afford a local holiday. What has happened to you Stacey is it all about the money?”, another disgruntled follower asked, prompting her loyal fans to fight back and defend the beloved TV star.

Jealousy is an energy waster,” another added. “People having a go at her for posting holiday pictures on Instagram of her and the family having an amazing time. Apparently it's showing off,” one bemused fan wrote.
Some were disappointed at the way trolls were trying to “cancel” Stacey for simply enjoying a family holiday, with many pointing out that she had worked hard to afford the trip. “It’s all relative. You spend what you can afford. If I had her income I’d spend more on holidays, I don’t so I spend what I can afford. Don’t hate on people for their income. If you don’t like it, don’t follow them. Easy,” one fan wrote. “You work hard and earn your money. Spend as you like. Holiday looks beautiful,” another simply stated.
“I don’t understand why we as a nation feel the need to rip each other apart.
