England will take on Spain in the Women’s World Cup final this weekend, with the nation set to come together to cheer on the Lionesses.
The clash will take place this Sunday, August 20, at Stadium Australia in Sydney, with kick off set for 11am. Despite the early start, many England fans will no doubt be looking to cheer on the Lionesses from the pub - and if your local is a Wetherspoon, you may be wondering what time doors open.
Coverage of the match will begin from 10am on BBC One and 10.15am on ITV1. If you’re wanting to catch some of this pre-match build-up, most Wetherspoon pubs in England will open at either 8am or 9am, with some welcoming customers even earlier than this.
As opening times do vary, the best thing to do is check the Wetherspoon pub finder tool by entering your postcode. Wetherspoon confirmed to The Mirror that alcohol is served from 9am across its pubs in England. Wetherspoon runs more than 830 pubs across the UK.
If your local pub is a Greene King, you could get a free pint this Sunday - but only if you turn up in an England kit, colours, or face paint. Over 900 pubs in the UK will be providing the offer, which will be available from the hours of 11am to 2pm.

For those looking for a bite to eat rather than drink, Krispy Kreme are giving away a box of 12 glazed doughnuts on Sunday to the first 50 customers that visit one of its shops. McDonald's was giving away World Cup backpacks along with 300 other prizes including mugs, footballs and water bottles.
If the Lionesses go on to win the match, it will give England its first World Cup title since 1966. This is the first time either England team has made it to the final of the World Cup since that year more than half a century ago. It also comes hot off the heels of the Lionesses winning the European Championship last year.
