Taxi Driver star Robert De Niro kicked off his 80th birthday off right with an epic star-studded birthday bash at a lavish dinner at the famous Italian restaurant Locanda Verde located in New York City with Hollywood's most renowned musicians, filmmakers, politicians, and loved ones making an appearance.
Some of the star-studded guests that stepped out for the special milestone included musician Paul McCartney, film director Martin Scorsese, former Governor of New York Andrew Cuomo, filmmaker George Lucas, film director Francis Ford Coppola, and girlfriend Tiffany Chen.
The birthday boy in question stepped out with his girlfriend Tiffany rocking a casual beige polo and jacket combo. Tiffany opted for a comfortable grey sweatsuit and jogging pants set.

The iconic filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola, who directed Robert to his first Oscar in The Godfather Part II also stopped by for the special occasion. The director was seen warmly engaging with fans outside Locanda Verde restaurant and he didn't come empty handed, as he was seen entering with a brightly coloured present in hand. The Apocalypse Now director was seen dressed up for the occasion wearing a light beige matching suit, light blue button down, and a patterned blue tie.

Security was forced to step in as autograph collectors mobbed the iconic director. The Indiana Jones filmmaker was seen stepping into the lavish restaurant wearing a light blue and purple checkered button down and circular eyeglasses.
Famous filmmaker Martin Scorsese, the director for some of Robert's most renounced performances also showed up to partake in the birthday festivities. The 80-year-old filmmaker was responsible for creating the hit movies crime drama Goodfellas and Taxi Driver in which Robert gained wide recognition for during his impressive career.
