Emmerdale fans fear 'exit' for beloved character as Mackenzie betrays Chloe

Emmerdale viewers are in for a dramatic couple of weeks ahead as Charity Dingle and Mackenzie Boyd sleep together in upcoming scenes.

Although everything has seemed rosy between Chloe Harris and her beau Mack in their new and exciting relationship, with the pair excitedly planning baby Reuben's christening, things are set to take a turn for the worst as history repeats itself with Mack being unfaithful to his girlfriend.

After deciding who will be Reuben's godparents going forward, Chloe is left delighted when she and Mack settle on Chloe is thrilled Amy Wyatt and Matty Barton as the baby's godparents. However, on the christening day, disaster strikes as the couple's chosen venue falls through at the very last minute.

In a bid to try and help out, Charity offers to host the special occasion it in the Woolpack - a gesture which Chloe initially laughs at. However, as desperate times call for desperate measures, Mack soon heads over to Charity's house to grovel to his ex amid the christening disaster.

During emotional scenes, it's clear that Mack and Charity still have strong feelings for one another, and after a heated row, the pair make up and end up sleeping together, with Mack staying the night in his ex-girlfriend's bed. The next morning, Mack makes it clear that he regrets sleeping with Charity, and dashes home to Chloe without saying a word.

All the while, Charity is lamenting about the night she and Mack spent together, and can't help but hope for a reunion with her ex-lover. After paying a visit to Butlers Farm to look for some advice from Moira, Mack is left feeling even more guilty as Moira suggests that Chloe will take Reuben away from him if she finds out about his night of passion with Charity.

Meanwhile, Charity admits to Chas Dingle that she slept with Mackenzie, just moments before the christening kicks off. As the tension fills the air, could Chloe potentially leave the village and take Reuben with her if she finds out about Mack's cheating ways?

Emmerdale continues tonight at 7.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
