Liverpool were rejected by Caicedo and Lavia, who both chose Chelsea, but are pressing on with other options. Chief among those is Doucoure, who starred for Palace last season.
The Independent says Palace are worried about losing a key player so close to the end of the transfer window and will demand £60m for him. However, Doucoure wants to join Liverpool and personal terms are not expected to be an issue.

Inacio currently has a release clause of £38.5m but it is set to rise to £42.9m once his new contract has been signed. Liverpool are apparently willing to match that price tag.
