Brooklyn Beckham's wife Nicola Peltz is said to be facing an on-camera grilling over a bitter wedding battle.

The actress, 28, has been swept up into the spat as her father Nelson Peltz is suing wedding planners Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba to get back the $159,000 deposit he put down on his daughter's big day. The co-owners of Miami-based Plan Design Events were fired by Nelson after just nine days when he accused them of being unable to cope with the size of the occasion.

Mr Peltz, who founded the Wendy’s burger chain, hired them six weeks before the do when the previous planner left by “mutual agreement”. Arianna and Nicola filed a counter claim for breach of contract – branding him a “billionaire bully”. The Transformers: Age of Extinction actress has argued the spat is nothing to do with her as her father was the one who hired the wedding planners.

However, it has now been reported by DailyMail.com that Nicola is scheduled to sit down for an on-camera deposition in a month's time. Despite her protests, the actress will be the first member of the Peltz family to have to answer on-the-record questions about the shock falling out.

Nicole and Arianna are seeking damages of at least £41,000, plus costs from bride Nicola, her mother Claudia and wedding designer Rishi Patel. They claim things were so disorganised – with multiple guest lists and a bride allegedly too busy to speak on the phone – that things went downhill quickly. The chaos is revealed in court papers which include hundreds of messages.

Nicola allegedly splurged £85,000 on her hair and make-up – and her mum is said to have asked planners not to tell Nelson. The women claim they worked 17-hour days on the three-day $3.5 million (£2.9 million) showbiz wedding, which was attended by 500 guests, including Brooklyn’s parents Victoria and David, and a host of A-listers including Gordon Ramsay and Serena and Venus Williams.

In his filing, Nelson’s lawyers claim : "During their nine days of negotiations… (they) failed to book a single new wedding vendor, failed to finalise the terms of any agreements with any of the vendors that had previously been selected by Peltz and his family and failed to attend previously scheduled meetings with Peltz.

"The celebrity of the wedding couple combined with the anticipated attendance of many high-profile guests required that the wedding planner have the expertise and staffing to plan, coordinate and execute a wedding event of the expected caliber and complexity. The guest list included more than five hundred people, including numerous celebrities, athletes, dignitaries and other influential individuals, who travelled from all around the globe to attend."

The couple tied the knot in April 2022. Earlier this year, it was reported Nicola and Brooklyn want a second wedding to makeup for their "nightmare" first ceremony.
