First Dates star Cici Coleman is a familiar face to Channel 4 viewers as she serves customers and potential love matches in the famous First Dates restaurant, alongside fan favourite Fred Sirieux.
The once aspiring actress joined the show in 2015 but quickly became a viewer favourite for her flirty banter with her co-stars as well as looking after the TV show's blind dates and blossoming romances. Cici might have become famous for her hospitality skills, but she originally had plans to become an actress with dreams of making it big in Hollywood. The Oxford-born star moved to America and earned herself an impressive scholarship at the New York Film Academy.
Her acting skills were quickly picked up with her first feature film appearance in 2014 with a part in romance thriller Red Butterfly as Janet. Two years later Cici had another role in Essex Vendetta, a film about an ordinary working family man who dares to reach beyond his grasp, even if it means risking death at the hands of the drug underworld.

Cici's acting aspirations began to fade though, as the star hasn't acted since and instead switched to her First Dates responsibilities after joining the show in 2015. The career change paid off for Cici, with the on-screen waitress a big hit with fans of the Channel 4 series.
Homeless fears
Considering Cici is now a huge star and a familiar TV face, it seems bizarre to imagine she ever worried about making ends meet but the actress and TV personality has revealed she regularly used to worry about becoming homeless at 25.
In a social media Q&A with her followers, Cici opened up as she explained: "At 25 I was one step away from being homeless. I had zero idea what I wanted to do. But I had hope. Take the pressure off having the answers. You have your whole life ahead of you to figure out who you are. That doesn't come overnight. It's a continuous lesson. Each moment is a new experience where we get to learn something about ourselves; my mistakes have been my greatest teachers."

Cici hit it big when she joined the cast of First Dates alongside charismatic French maître d'hôtel Fred Sirieix, fellow waitress Laura Tott and waiter Sam Conrad. Joining from season three, Cici's big break was a lucky one after being spotted by Channel 4 producers.
The dating show's producer Molly Sayers explained that their team looked for potential waiters and waitresses for the show by going out to "trendy bars that were likely to have cool people in them." At the time Cici was working in Balans bar in Soho at the time, and the Channel 4 programme's researchers marked her as a candidate for the role with their decision to pick her working out well as she quickly became a TV favourite.
Fitness influencer
Outside of being a Channel 4 star, Cici has also built up an impressive fitness business as she shows off her toned figure and her own fitness transformation online. Cici also offers a refreshing take on fitness and gives her followers an honest take on the fitness culture they might see on social media, as she regularly reminds fans that pictures can be deceiving.
She's also honest that fitness isn't always the things she wants to do everyday as she explained: "I'm not a natural gym bunny, I'm not the kind of person that wakes up in the morning and thinks: "I can't wait to go to the gym!" I'm the complete opposite and I try and talk myself out of it and give myself excuses."

Outside of First Dates and helping romantic hopefuls find love on their blind dates, it's rumoured that Cici could be dating Gethin Jones. Cici and the enigmatic welshman were seen together after attending 2:22 A Ghost Story to lend support to Cici's podcast co-host Frankie Bridge in the West End, with Cici and Gethin then heading for drinks at the Apollo Theatre and to The Groucho Club.
In October 2020 Cici did confirm she had a boyfriend but stayed tight lipped about the details, but in March 2021 it appeared she could have been happily in love after she told TOWIE star Pete Wicks on FUBAR Radio: "I've dated absolute a***holes and then there's been some lovely ones, but I have learned lessons from each one of them. And this guy popped up and he just keeps showing up - in all the right ways, not that he keeps knocking on my door!"
BBC Morning Live star Gethin was last known to be in a relationship in 2018 when he split from German underwear model Katja Zwara.
