Meghan Markle might have made her name playing Rachel Zane on Suits, but she's appeared in huge Hollywood movies throughout the years as well.
The now Duchess of Sussex has been in scenes with the likes of Ashton Kutcher and Robert Pattinson before she appeared in the hit television show Suits from 2011 to 2018. She started dating Prince Harry in 2016, a year after her last movie appearance.
She and Harry now run Archwell Productions, a company that has a deal with Netflix. So far they've produced their Harry & Meghan documentary, while a documentary titled Heat of Invictus is in the works that will center around Harry's Invictus Games for wounded veterans.

A Lot Like Love
This was Meghan's first movie role (Touchstone Pictures)This 2005 romantic comedy was the first film Meghan appeared in after a few small television roles. The film stars Ashton Kutcher and Amanda Peet, who play Oliver Martin and Emily Friehl respectively. It follows Emily and Oliver over the course of seven years as the two develop a romance.

Meghan liked working with Robert Pattinson (Underground Films)Meghan coincidentally plays a character named Megan in this Robert Pattinson led drama film. She appears in one scene as a bartender but claims that there were several other scenes that didn't make the cut. Her then-husband, Trevor Engelson, was a producer for the 2010 movie. In 2013, the Duchess of Sussex spoke highly of working with Robert, saying: "He's a really lovely guy." On a red carpet in 2017, Robert said Meghan was "great."

This was Meghan's first hallmark original film she starred in (Hallmark Channel)The title of this film refers to the Fourth of July holiday that the movie takes place around. This Hallmark Original film came out in 2014 and was Meghan's first leading role. She played Amy Peterson, a journalist in the big city that comes back home to her small town for the Independence Day celebrations. But coming back home makes her realize that she's in love with an old flame, Hank, played by Christopher Jacot.
Dater's Handbook
Meghan played a girl stuck between two guys (Handbook Production)This is the second Hallmark Channel original movie Meghan starred in. First premiering in January 2016, Meghan plays Cassandra Barber, the main character who seems to be unlucky in love. Desperate, she decides to follow the titular "Dater's Handbook" to find the love of her life. She's stuck between two men, George, played by Jonathan Scarfe, and Robert, played by Kristoffer Polaha.
A Random Encounter
Meghan plays a party girl in this rom-com (Signature Entertainment)In 2013, Meghan played Mindy in this little-known romantic comedy. Mindy is a party girl in Los Angeles, living it up in the city. Her best friend is Laura, played by Abby Wathen, and is the main character of this film. Laura has a small meet-cute with Kevin, played by Michael Rady, as she spills her drink on him in a coffee shop. The two have a moment, but Kevin has to run. Mindy helps Laura as she tries to find Kevin again.

Meghan's last movie before becoming a royal (You Tube)Meghan plays Kirsten, a model dating the main character, Dee, played by Gregg Sulkin. The movie is set in Britain, where Dee is a successful street artist. His brother Marcus, played by Josh Myers, robs jewelry stores and belongs to a high-profile gang. Dee has to help his brother out, and it seems Kirsten is along for the ride in this crime thriller.
The trailer for the 2015 flick says it's based on true events. This movie is the last film that Meghan has appeared in since becoming a royal, not counting Elephant, a Disneynature film she narrates.
