Love Island's Ella B calls out Abi's 'jealousy' after awkward reunion clash

Love Island star Ella B branded fellow contestant Abi 'jealous' after their bitter clash at the ITV2 show's Reunion special. Things turned awkward when Abi said she thinks her romance with Mitch was stronger than the one he has with Ella.

At the fiery reunion, Ella told Abi that she was simply "bitter" and said "Mitch's head wouldn't have been turned" if their connection was as strong as Abi claimed. However, Abi claimed she would never go back to Mitch as said she was "gaslit by an engineer" as she slammed him.

Following the show, the Love Island stars have been making their rounds on radio shows and podcasts to discuss their connections as well as their experiences on the dating show - which saw Sammy and Jess be crowned winners. Talking on Kiss, Ella B said she was "surprised" by Abi's comments.

"I was surprised what Abi said at the reunion, obviously she's been texting me, saying she wants to go brunch with me, so for her to come at me like that was a shock," Ella explained. "She did have a very good connection physically with Scott in the villa, so for her to say her connection was stronger with Mitch... yeah it's not."

She continued: "I feel like it's jealousy obviously, seeing me come out, Mitch buying me flowers, me going to his house, I feel like it's just jealousy."

During the reunion, Aftersun host Sam Thompson questioned Abi on whether or not she still has feelings for Mitch after being dumped from the villa and Abi immediately threw a savage dig Ella's way when she claimed that she and Mitch had a 'much stronger' connection'. This didn't go down well with Ella, who quickly clapped back, telling Abi that she was simply looking to cause drama and insisting that she 'strongly disagrees with her opinion.

The Aftersun audience were lost for words at the awkward exchange, as did the stunned viewers at home who rushed to social media to talk about the row between Ella and Abi while Mitch remained silent sitting between the two women. The awkward conversation ended with Abi labelling Mitch as a 'gas-lighter' before she confirmed that several famous faces have already slid into her DM's.

According to Abi, Ella B was so mad at her comments that she refused to talk to her during ad breaks on the show. "So off camera, after the argument, we went to a break, Ella just wouldn’t talk," she told The Sun.
