'Black alien' shows off throwback look before the tattoos and body modifications

Tattoos and body modifications have become increasingly popular, and largely accepted in today's society. Although some who opt for more extreme changes are still subject to discrimination. A man who has taken body modifications to a whole new level has shared a rare photo with fans of what he looked like pre-modifications. Known and associated as a 'black alien', Anthony Loffredo has been working on his full body transformation for decades, and admits he's only 62% of the way there to fit his aesthetic.

Completely transforming his appearance, Anthony has removed some of his fingers, his ears and even his nostrils in a bid to achieve an extra-terrestrial look. The body mod obsessive also got his tongue split like a snake and decided to tattoo his eyeballs black. Admitting he used to be a "very sexy guy", Anthony says he feels far more comfortable in the skin he is in now, arguing that he was never in his "true body" which led to decades of transformation.

Highlighting the extreme changes in a throwback snap shared to his 1.4 million Instagram followers, the modification addict shared a quick glimpse of his past self in a red tight polo top with his arms crossed and a muscular body. Fans have been left astounded at what the ink-lover used to look like, and even more staggered to learn that Anthony is ready for more body modification work.

Despite his extreme look resulting in him being banned from certain restaurants, he has plans for more extreme modifications, such as removing a leg and replacing it with a robotic one. Knowing that his look has caused him criticism in the past, the aspiring alien doesn't care. And people on social media didn't know what to think after it was posted. One said: "Your before is better than the after," while another added: "Awww poor thing. He needs mental help."

But not everyone is against his look, as some fans shared their support. One commenter said: "Before it was beautiful. Then wonderful. It's not always been an easy ride for the black alien", and another added: "I am always impressed with the modifications you do. But the most impressive thing is how happy you look when you do them. Keep going!"
